Are you looking to spread awareness about organ donation right in your backyard? Do you want to get to know people near you who’ve also been affected by a life-saving transplant? Are you interested in being educated about the latest information and trends in organ procurement? If you answered yes to any of these questions, joining CORE’s Altoona Volunteer Task Force could be just what you’re looking for. CORE’s Altoona Volunteer Task Force meets monthly. As a special treat, the September meeting will be held immediately following the Hollidaysburg Haul at the Allegheny Street Coffee Company on the Diamond. Bedford and Johnstown volunteers are included in this month's meeting.
