CORE will have an information table at the 2015 TakeOff 5K/10K Race, celebrating National Donate Life Month in April and staffed by CORE volunteers directly affected by organ donation and transplantation. Every year, the TakeOff 5K/10K Race at St. Vincent College aims to raise awareness about the danger of impaired driving, in memory of Pennsylvania State Trooper Kenton Iwaniec, who was killed in 2008 when his car was hit by a vehicle driven by a woman who was speeding and driving under the influence.
