In honor of World Kidney Day, a global health awareness campaign focused on the prevention and treatment of kidney disease, UPMC Presbyterian Hospital and the Western PA Kidney Support Groups will host a day-long educational symposium for patients with kidney disease, including kidney transplant recipients. Participants will learn from UPMC Presbyterian Hospital kidney, cardiovascular and transplantation specialists, as well as other presenters, about the latest therapeutic innovations and preventive health recommendations for those who have or are at risk for kidney disease.
